tooth fairy

Okay, so Mary has not lost any teeth, nor do any of her teeth seem loose, so we have not had to think about this whole Tooth Fairy business. She announced yesterday, though, that a kid in her class lost a tooth and that the Tooth Fairy came to visit.

As far as I can tell, she has no sense of the fact that the Tooth Fairy theoretically TAKES the tooth, or that the fairy leaves anything, but she told us all about her personal Tooth Fairy.

Apparently, this is Mary’s own special Tooth Fairy (does everyone get one? Who knows?).

Her name is Frobdit Tooth-girl.

To which I say, well, why not?
