why do my kids always like the most expensive foods?

Mary always did this to me too–she didn’t like green beans, but loved asparagus and artichokes. Now I find that Wesley is totally into avocados. Why not bananas?!

Hahaha! I totally hear you! My girl loves banannas and not avacados so much, but she LOVES asparagas!

And it doesn’t stop for a long time… my kids have an uncanny knack for choosing the most expensive of anything: clothing, hair care, foodstuffs, bedding– without ever once glancing at the brand. Nothing worked significantly against that instinct until they started working and becoming much more responsible for their own optional expenses (i.e. anything beyond bread, water and dish soap)…
