I, the chef

Just in case you’re wondering–last week’s meal planning was a fabulous thing. I made two totally new meals I’d never made before (which I ordinarily don’t do very often because I don’t have the ingredients and don’t want to go to the store). We tested out a Thai crockpot curry (decent; needs more spice but I’ll make it again and add more) and a barbecued chicken crockpot pie (with cornbread on top). That one was okay and would be tasty with a less sweet barbecue sauce, so I’ll probably try it again and make my own sauce.

Anyway, I’m pleased with myself, although I discovered we definitely need to build in a leftover night. We had pretty healthy meals, too. The baked salmon I made was really good–that’s going in the regular rotation.
